GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenville Police Department has been busy for the past two days attending to bridge strikes on Glenville Road. Struck on October 7 and 8, police said two truck drivers were ticketed for the strikes.

Police said the October 7 bridge strike occurred around noon, and the driver fled the scene. The 46-year-old driver from Albany was driving a 2025 International delivery truck and hit the bridge, failing to obey low bridge signs and flashers.

The man said he didn't know he hit the bridge, but police stated there was damage and debris from the impact with the bridge. The man was ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident and failing to adhere to the over-height vehicle warning.
