Christine Francescone served in many roles throughout her life, from hotel management to the local rescue squad to a mother of three children. While her positions may have changed, her focus on love and friendship to those around her never did.
"It’s hard to fathom the number of lives she’s touched in one way or another," read the obituary for Francescone, 55, who died Oct. 4 in a fire on Lyman Avenue in Pequannock.
Services will take place from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Scanlan's Funeral Home in Pompton Plains, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. The Pequannock Township First Aid and Rescue Squad, for whom Francescone volunteered as an associate member, will host its own service at 7:45 p.m., the group announced on Facebook .
