NORRISTOWN — With the general election less than one month away, Montgomery County Election Board Chairman Neil Makhija urged people to turn out and vote.

Makhija addressed reporters following a groundbreaking ceremony for a new development project in Norristown ahead of the Nov. 4 election. While off-year elections typically see low turnout rates, as the county’s leader in election administration, Makhija emphasized “every year is an election year” and “I’m always looking to see more people vote.”
