People planning to pay a visit to Walt Disney World or Disneyland in the coming months will have to shell out a few more bucks.

Disney said it raised admission prices on Wednesday for the two theme parks in Orlando, Fla., and Anaheim, Calif.

For people planning to visit at peak times during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Day, expect to pay $209 (C$292) for Walt Disney World and $224 ($313) for Disneyland, 5% and 8.7% increases respectively, reports Variety .

The peak pricing would also be in place for the week of the American Thanksgiving holiday as well.

The company said it is seeing strong demand for the winter holidays after recently pausing sales for one-day passes to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve.
