A woman who caused “unimaginable terror” when she tried to snatch a baby in a pram from outside a shop before spitting at police officers has been jailed. ‌

Nicolette Goldrick, 51, “brazenly” walked up to the seven-month-old girl in her pram on Central Drive, Blackpool, while the child’s mum was inside a nearby store. ‌

Goldrick released the brake and began pushing the pram down the street before the horrified mother ran after her, shouting for her to stop. The mum managed to grab the pram back a short distance away as Goldrick silently walked off. ‌

Later that same afternoon, on May 10, Goldrick returned to the area and was arrested by police. She hurled abuse at officers and spat at one of them inside the police van, reports Manchester Evening News.
