4 vehicles catch fire at Independence apartment complex

Four vehicles burned after catching fire under an apartment complex carport.

When they arrived, a fire had spread to four cars under a shared carport.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, but the cars were badly burned. A photo shared by the fire department shows what used to be a red car almost completely black and gray, and a neighboring silver was car badly charred.

No one was hurt, and no residences were affected.
