Firefighters responded to a fire at a vacant restaurant Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says a fire broke out inside the structure, located near Southwest 25th Street and South Western Avenue, just before 1 a.m.

After arriving on the scene, firefighters said no one was inside the building, but the back door was left open.

"Right now, it looks like the back door was open when we arrived on the scene," OKCFD Battalion Chief Greg Lindsay said. "I'm suspecting there was somebody inside. So we're probably going to find maybe evidence of a warming fire down low that got into the attic."

The building has been considered a total loss, OKCFD says, although no one was injured.
