Unveils statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Pantha Chowk

Srinagar, Oct 8: Heightened vigilance, area domination, and the deployment of advanced surveillance technology have significantly curbed infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC), said Inspector General (IG) BSF Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav, on Wednesday.

Speaking to media on the sidelines of a statue unveiling ceremony of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the BSF Camp in Pantha Chowk, Yadav said credible intelligence inputs suggest that several terrorists remain stationed at launch pads across the LoC, waiting for opportunities to cross into Indian territory.
