MANCHESTER, N.H. —

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said the Department of Justice did it's job when prosecuting the case against state Supreme Court Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi.

On Tuesday, Hantz Marconi entered a no-contest plea to a misdemeanor charge of criminal solicitation for misusing her position in an attempt to influence a criminal case against her husband, New Hampshire Port Authority Director Geno Marconi.

After the hearing, the order to put Hantz Marconi on leave from the court was rescinded.

However, she cannot return to the bench until she is once again allowed to practice law in New Hampshire. That decision is still pending.
