The Stockport roads where hundreds of drivers are being given parking fines have been revealed.

A freedom of information request about the fines issued by Stockport council showed that from June 2024 to June 2025 there were 23,446 penalties dished out in total.

These gave the council a total income of £801,290.

Princes Street in the town centre was the road with the most parking fines in Stockport in the last year, with 483 penalties given to drivers.

The street is close to Merseyway Shopping Centre and and places to eat and drink in central Stockport.
