LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Pine Bluff School District suspended its high school coach on Wednesday.

According to district officials, Michael Williams has been removed from leadership within the athletic program; however, a final decision has not been made. Coach Tyrone Jones will serve as the interim coach.

The School district did not address the specific issue of Williams' suspension, but said it recognizes the importance of addressing academic integrity within its athletic program.
