MOSCOW, Idaho – An investigation into an attack on the University of Idaho campus that left a man with head injuries is now in the hands of the Latah County Prosecutor’s office.

The Moscow Police Department announced its investigation is complete after speaking with several witnesses and reviewing video footage of the incident.

26-year-old Austen Dawson of Moscow was beaten last month while making a DoorDash delivery. Dawson was placed in a medically induced coma but has since come out of it, according to his family.

The altercation involved two adult males. Moscow Police Chief Anthony Dahlinger stated that investigators identified all parties involved and interviewed about a dozen people.

No arrests have been made. Prosecutors will determine if charges will be filed.
