STANTON, Ky. — A Powell County man was arrested over the weekend for shocking Halloween decorations in his front yard.
Kentucky State Police (KSP) said Stephan Marcum, 58, is charged with third-degree terroristic threatening and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
According to an arrest citation, state troopers responded to Marcum's home at the intersection of Court Street and North Main Street after receiving a complaint about the display in his front yard.
Troopers said the display included five fake bodies wrapped in trash bags labeled with the titles of various county officials, including the mayor and district judge.
One of the bodies was hung from an elevated position, the citation said.
