SUPERIOR, Wis. — Two public meetings were held in Superior on Wednesday to discuss the potential changes to multiple one-way roads.

The meeting focused on addressing safety concerns in the midtown neighborhood, particularly on Banks, Ogden, and John Aves.

The proposed solution is to convert the one-way streets to two-way streets, which are considered safer. Two-streets can increase driver awareness and naturally reduce traffic.

Many residents in the area are concerned that two-way streets will attract more vehicles and ask for increased signage at the very least.
