COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - An Aiken man has been identified as the body found on the banks of the Congaree River, according to the Richland County Coroner’s Office.

Deputies look for murder suspect after dead body found at gas station

Deputies are searching for a murder suspect after a dead body was found at a local gas station.

Officials say 38-year-old Addison L. Brown, of Aiken, was discovered by kayakers near Wheat Street at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to WIS , the coroner’s office said it would continue to assist Columbia police with its investigation.
