UNIVERSITY CITY — More than 100 fans packed into Vintage Vinyl on Wednesday afternoon when rock band the All-American Rejects arrived for a pop-up album signing.
The band was in St. Louis for a Wednesday night concert at Enterprise Center, where they'd open for the Jonas Brothers.
The platinum-selling rock act behind hits like "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell" has been making waves over the past year with four new singles and by ditching digitally fueled marketing campaigns in favor of face-to-face engagement with fans.
Lead singer Tyson Ritter says some might call the band “old school” in its decision to return to in-person meet-and-greets. When asked why the band wanted to interact directly with fans instead of online, Ritter says, “somebody’s got to do it.”
“Human connection still h
