Kelly, who will be 64 later this month, had 118 career wins at Division II Grand Valley State to start his coaching career. He’s compiled 199 wins in FBS in stops at Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and LSU, where he’s 33-12 including a 24-19 loss two weeks ago at Ole Miss.
