BRONX — Injured Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette is making strides in his recovery from a left knee sprain.

Manager John Schneider says Bichette faced live pitching from starters Max Scherzer and Chris Bassitt during a recent simulated game in Toronto.

Bichette isn’t running the bases yet but jogged in the outfield at Yankee Stadium before Game 4 of the American League Division Series.

He’s not on the division series roster but could potentially return if Toronto advances to the AL Championship Series.

Bichette led the team with 181 hits in the regular season.

If the Yankees force a deciding fifth game, it will be played Friday at Rogers Centre.
