ROSEMONT, Ill. (WCIA) - Wednesday was day one of two for Big Ten basketball media days in Rosemont, Illinois.

The opening day was reserved for women's hoops, while the league's men's teams will speak to the media on Thursday.

Illinois women's basketball is looking to build off a season which saw the program pick up its first NCAA tournament win in more than two decades.

Head coach Shauna Green is preaching patience at the moment, after her team graduated an impressive senior class. Now, she's balancing an understanding for growing pains with a consistently high expectation.
