Rapper 50 Cent publicly mocked Sean “Diddy” Combs this week in an Instagram post after President Donald Trump confirmed that the music mogul had formally requested a presidential pardon following his conviction.
During a White House news briefing, Trump revealed that Diddy had sought clemency and said he would look into the matter, though he made no promise to grant a pardon, Reuters reported .
In response, 50 Cent took to Instagram with a sarcastic message.
“Man you can’t get No pardon running ya mouth like that! LOL Get Out of here 😆," he wrote.
Diddy was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution, a violation of the federal Mann Act, The Washington Post reported . He was acquitted of the more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficki
