The New South Wales Court of Appeal has moved to prohibit the proposed pro-Palestine protest on the Sydney Opera House forecourt.
Justice Stephen Free told the court he and Justice Ian Harrison had ruled in favour of the police against defendant, and march organiser Amal Naser.
He dismissed a further cross summons and made no orders to costs against Ms Naser.
The court cited concerns regarding a crowd crush, panic caused by external or internal events and the reliability of safety estimations.
"All of these risks would be exacerbated if the number of participants in the march proved to be higher than the already big estimate," Justice Free said.
