An 18-year-old had to be rescued after he climbed up a roller coaster at a Virginia amusement park and got stuck.

The incident happened on at about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 5 on the Tempesto roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, according to WTVR.

Officials said the teen climbed 100 feet up the coaster in order to retrieve his phone.

He then got stuck on the coaster’s catwalk and had to be helped back to the ground by the James City County Fire Department, which got him down safely.

The unidentified teen was then arrested and charged with trespassing.

According to the amusement park’s website, Tempesto is a high-speed coaster that takes riders about 150 feet in the air and reaches speeds of 63 mph.
