Californians are no strangers to the importance of preparing their homes and families for wildfire risk.
Now that it's fall, emergency response agencies are also encouraging people to think about the potential for flooding near their homes.
That's why the Yuba County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is hosting its 4th annual Be Prepared Fair Wednesday in the community of Linda.
The goal of the Be Prepared Fair is to equip residents with essential emergency resources ahead of the upcoming storm and flood season.
