As the fourth group of startups is selected for the gBETA Greeley program, the program has put out a call for any residents who have worked in agriculture, manufacturing or energy to act as mentors to this new cohort.
On Tuesday, five startups were chosen for the fourth round of the city’s startup accelerator, gBETA Greeley. The free seven-week program run by the national venture firm gener8tor helps early-stage startups grow, connect with mentors and seek funding.
“Innovation is alive in Greeley, and this cohort proves it,” Greeley Economic Development Manager Derrek Jerred said in a city news release. “These startups show that you don’t have to move to a big city to make a big impact — you can build it right here. We’re excited to cheer them on.”
