Following a national trend started by Power Four schools, William & Mary has hired a general manager for athletics.

Larry Pulley, a 1974 graduate of W&M and former dean of W&M’s Raymond A. School of Business, will occupy the position on an interim basis, athletic director Brian Mann announced Wednesday.

Pulley will serve for the next year. One of his duties will be to help develop the position description for the full-time GM who could succeed him.
