Weapons call near Danz Park prompts large police presence in Green Bay, multiple streets closed

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - There is a large police presence on the 2100 block of Basten Street near Danz Park as Green Bay Police are urging people to avoid the area.

Officers were called around 5:30 for a weapons call and are still on the scene.

Multiple streets are closed off temporarily, with drivers urged to seek alternative routes: • Basten Street • Morrow Street • North Danz Avenue.

Officers are seeking one suspect. Local 5 will provide updates when more information is available.
