PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles volleyball team beat North Mason 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-23) to improve to .500 in Olympic League play.
“The court ran smoothly last night, and the girls are really coming together as one,” said coach Alyssa Wetzler. “We have been working hard in practice and it is so fun to see it come together when we compete. I am so proud of the growth of this team, whether it’s on the court or off. This is an amazing group of young ladies I’m a very proud coach.”
The Roughriders were led by sophomore Juno Rognlien and junior Jordin Dunaway. Rognlien served 20-for-20 with eight aces, six kills and seven digs, while Dunaway had eight kills, five digs and a solo block.
