POST FALLS, Idaho — A Post Falls man is in the hospital after he was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle, and his wife says she watched the whole thing happen from her car just behind him.

Post Falls police say an inattentive driver ran a red light on Highway 41 and 16th Avenue on Sunday, Oct. 5, just before 8 p.m., hitting Taiz Kelling on his motorcycle.

"I was slowly going through the stoplight, and the car came out of nowhere and hit me. I was yelling at the kid to stop. Just ran over both legs, he didn't stop. He just barely missed my head," said Kelling.

His wife, Jessica, says she was driving behind her husband in their family car, with their son in the passenger seat.
