FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The family of a missing Coalinga woman is speaking out nearly a month after she vanished without a trace.

Fifty-year-old Isabel Lucas Velasco was last seen on Sept. 13 after leaving her job in San Luis Obispo. Her family says the day started like any other until the calls stopped coming.

Her daughter, Karla Perez, says the last time she saw her mother was on Sept.12.

“The last time we had any type of contact with my mom was back on Sept. 12, that was one day before she went missing,” Perez said.

Velasco worked as a housekeeper and frequently made the drive from Coalinga to San Luis Obispo for work. On the morning of her disappearance, she left for the Central Coast in the early hours between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., planning to clean several homes and retu
