Power out in Mid-City for second time this week, Entergy map shows

Around 2,100 people were without power Wednesday night after an outage in the Mid-City area, according to Entergy's outage map.

The area affected includes tracts of Banks Street, Bienville Avenue and Canal Boulevard. It was the second power outage in the neighborhood this week , following one Monday night that went on for several hours.

Residents in the area report an Entergy alert says power should be restored at around 9 p.m.
