Linganore Road will be closed near the intersection of Plantation Road for about six weeks, according to the Frederick County Traffic and Permit Section.

The closure, which starts this week, is to allow a developer to construct a realignment of Linganore Road slightly to the northwest of the existing alignment, the county said in a press release.
