Arturo Gatti Jr., the son of the late boxer Arturo Gatti, tragically lost his life at the tender age of 17.

Gatti’s former bodyguard, Chuck Zito, confirmed the news on Instagram, revealing that the young boxer had taken his own life.

In that Instagram post announcing his tragic death, the former bodyguard of the elder Gatti described a chilling scene that mirrored the late boxer’s death.

He revealed that the 17-year-old was tragically found hanging in his apartment.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I have to say,…. R.I.P. to 17-year-old ARTURO GATTI JR., who was found hanging in an apartment in Mexico yesterday.
