A Dover mother and Democratic activist blamed President Trump and Republican leaders in Congress for the federal government shutdown that she fears will put at risks services for her 41-year-old son, who hasDown syndrome.
“I don’t want to live anymore wondering how we will afford accessible, long-term care for my son,” said Nancy Vawter, co-chairman of the Dover Democratic City Committee during a video press conference the New Hampshire Democratic Party hosted Wednesday.
