EUGENE — No receiver has arrived at Oregon with higher expectations than Dakorien Moore . The No. 1 receiver in the 2025 class, Moore was anticipated to make immediate contributions that would be compared to Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, the top-ranked receiver in 2024.

Moore knew what outside perceptions were, but his own standards are far more meaningful. He put in the work on and off the practice field throughout the offseason, and took some lumps along the way while learning the physicality and speed of the college game.

“I put more pressure on myself than anything,” Moore said. “I don’t really try to think about what everybody’s expectations for me is, especially outside of this building and the team. It’s the standard that we uphold for ourselves.”
