Last season, the Fulton girls tennis team reached the Section III tournament for the first time in 22 years.

The Red Dragons’ 2024 season was abruptly cut short by Whitesboro in the Class B quarterfinals, but the program was showing signs of an upward trajectory.

This season, third-seeded Fulton faced second-seeded Whitesboro once again in sectionals — this time in the semifinal round — on Wednesday.
