For the first time since 2016, the Toronto Blue Jays are headed to the American League Championship Series.

Nathan Lukes had two hits and two RBI and the Jays used eight different pitchers in an impressive bullpen-by-committee effort and eliminated the New York Yankees 5-2 in Game 4 of their American League Division Series Wednesday night in New York.

Addison Barger had three hits and Ernie Clement added a pair for Toronto. George Springer and Myles Straw also drove in single runs. Slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. finished off a monster series by going 1-for-4 with an RBI. Guerrero hit .529 with nine RBI in the series.

Cam Schlittler took the loss on the mound for the Yankees, going 6 1/3 innings and giving up eight hits and four runs (two earned).
