PHOENIX — A man is dead after a shooting involving officers with the El Mirage Police Department on Wednesday evening.

According to El Mirage police, the shooting occurred near 115th Avenue and Columbine Drive around 5:38 p.m.

Police said that the man was pronounced dead and that no officers were injured in the incident.

The man’s identity was not released.
