Injuries continue to plague the Colorado Buffaloes.

On Wednesday, the first participation report of the week was released by the Big 12 and Colorado lists 12 players as out for Saturday’s matchup against No. 22 Iowa State.

Overall, 21 players are on the report for CU. In addition to the dozen players listed as out, four are doubtful, three questionable and two probable.

Iowa State is banged up, too, with 12 players listed as out, one doubtful and four questionable.

CU head coach Deion Sanders said he hopes to get few players back this week, and there is still time before Saturday’s matchup.
