The University of Rhode Island has added a backcourt commitment to its 2026 men’s basketball recruiting class.

Point guard Jaen Chatman pledged to the Rams in a social media post the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 7. He’s a Pennsylvania native who preps at New Jersey power Blair Academy and runs with PSA Cardinals on the Nike EYBL circuit.
