ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A neighborhood in Albuquerque's International District just got a little brighter. Over the last two weeks, the city installed five new solar lights around Mesa Verde Park, located near Pennsylvania Blvd. and Marquette Ave. The Director of the City of Albuquerque's Municipal Development said neighbors have asked for more lights there, and solar lights are considered low maintenance.
The city is putting in nearly 200 of them along Central Ave. from Louisiana Blvd. to Juan Tabo Blvd.
