While it’s common for companies to issue public advertisements marking such milestones, what caught everyone’s attention this time was that thank-you advertisements to Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared prominently in Andhra Pradesh’s Telugu newspapers — sparking widespread curiosity and debate.

The full-page ad read, “Thank you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” expressing gratitude for the government’s support in the airport project.

However, the placement of this ad in Andhra newspapers — despite the project being in Maharashtra — has raised eyebrows.

Many in Andhra Pradesh are questioning the motive behind the move.
