HOUSTON — No, the University of Houston football team did not beat Texas Tech this past Saturday, despite what you may have seen in an email from the school.

The Coogs suffered their first loss of the season to the Red Raiders, a 35-10 setback . But in an email sent out Wednesday, UH declared they won against Tech and encouraged fans to take advantage of a flash sale for tickets for the homecoming game against Arizona on Saturday, October 18.

The email said the big win against Tech was just the beginning.

“After an incredible victory over Texas Tech, it’s time to keep the energy rolling!” the email said.
