HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Curiosity almost got the best of a young tabby after getting its head stuck in a fence post, Hanford Fire announced Wednesday.

According to crews, the kitten became stuck after peering through a small circular opening in the fence.

By the time crews arrived, the young tabby was still stuck. However, with the help of some cutting equipment and careful hands, crews were able to free him.

The young tabby was evaluated on scene before being reunited with its family.
