Wishaw FC have received 14 applications for their managerial vacancy, but won’t be rushed into making a decision.
The Beltane Park club last week parted company with boss Paul Wright and assistant Alan Robertson, but general manager Martin O’Neill says there’s no fall-out.
Head of recruitment Neil Rowatt will take the team for the next two games, but O’Neill and the board will look over applicants this week.
O’Neill said: “We have had a good response, I think there were 14 applicants, which is really quite encouraging, from our point of view.
“It’s a really unusual situation in that we’re doing so many good things around the pitch, upstairs, encouraging sponsors, trying to get more people back through the gate.
