Pro-Palestine protest groups will not pull up stumps following a Gazan peace deal, a leading activist has said.

Palestine Action Group organiser Josh Lees fronted cameras after the New South Wales Court of Appeal made a prohibition order against a protest planned for the Sydney Opera House on Sunday.

He faced a jarring question after criticising the Australian legislative system for a perceived lack of protest rights.

A reporter asked if demonstrations would come to an end with the advent of a peace deal and a possible ceasefire in the Middle East.

Mr Lees suggested they would not.
