Production for the new 'Harry Potter' reboot series began in July 2025, but very few official images have been released so far. However, the first unofficial pictures and video of actor John Lithgow in costume as Professor Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, have surfaced from the set. The leaked material shows the actor in full gear as the headmaster of the wizarding school, Hogwarts.

On X, numerous fan and update accounts shared the leaked photos, which show Lithgow standing on a beach set. His costume is composed of a long royal blue robe, a blue shirt, dark blue pants, and boots. He is seen with a long white beard that nearly reaches his knees and is wearing slim half-glasses.
