LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and South Carolina quarterback LaNoris Sellers don't possess many similarities as players, but they both entered the 2025 season with something in common.

Both were highly-regarded prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft. For Nussmeier, it is his ability to make throws into tight windows and fearlessness as a passer. Sellers' calling cards are his size, strength and speed.

Their traits were enticing enough for Dane Brugler, a national NFL writer covering the NFL Draft for The Athletic, to place both players in the top-10 of his preseason draft rankings.
