Jaipur: Following the fire at SMS Hospital Sunday evening, the fire safety departments of Jaipur Municipal Corporation ( JMC ) Greater and JMC Heritage conducted safety audits Wednesday at different private and state-run facilities within their respective jurisdictions.

Officials said they identified a few lapses at some buildings and have asked them to rectify the glitches.

Monika Soni, DC Fire of JMC Heritage, said the civic body has 88 hospitals, including private and govt, under its jurisdiction. Out of these 88 hospitals, they conducted safety audits in 40 hospitals. Safety audits were also conducted at a few dental and other clinics.
