A council has worth up to a total of £420 to people for parking in town centre. said it issued six penalty charge notices (PCNs) which cost £70 each.
The fines could be discounted to £35 each if they were paid within 14 days. The county council said these fines were cancelled on September 19.
This comes after Spalding Town Forum chairman Councillor Rob Gibson (Reform UK) said that the county council had made a mistake and put up the wrong signs in the town centre. The signs were meant to say no parking between 10am and 4pm – not all day.
