Temperatures are mainly starting in the 40s again this morning with another quick warm up through the afternoon.

Highs will be a bit warmer with low 70s in the early evening. The winds will be gusty at times with the strongest winds west of I-35. With the low humidity and dry crops, we will have an elevated fire risk today. Any burnings should be postponed.
Rain chances will return overnight with isolated to scattered showers after midnight and before sunrise. A few thunderstorms will be possible, but overall rain amounts will be minimal for most. We will dry up and clear out the clouds through Friday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will shift and become northwest as a cold front passes over.
